The basic definition of
TRIAC means Triode for Alternating Current, this is a generalised
trade name for an electrical component that can conduct current in
either direction when it is triggered. So basically meaning the
electronic control of a current flow supplied to a
circuit.
Photonics has developed
a TRIAC dimmable driver compatible for LEDs, with multiple
specifications that have been proven and tested.
