Product Description & Features

Its made of knitted fiberglass or polyester fabric, impregnated with water-activated polyurethane resin. It is used for illness or fraction from external wound, to preserve fixation for swollen or wounded joint. It is the upgraded and replaced product of the traditional plaster bandage.

High strength and light weight: 20 times stronger and 5 times lighter than the traditional plaster bandage
Excellent X-ray radiolucency: doctors can easily check the condition of treatment without removing cast
Good air-permeability: less itchiness and skin irritation
Quick solidifying and good mouldability: solidify in 3-4 minutes, bear weight enough in 20 minutes
Waterproof: evaporate water rapidly due to its excellent air permeability, and maintain its solidity longer

Application instructions for casting tape

1.Use the protective padding or stockinet on the fixed part.
2. Wear surgical gloves.
3. Before opening the package, select the roll of proper size.
4. Immerse the cast in room temperature water (21-24â„ƒ) for 4-6 seconds and squeeze it 2-3 times to complete penetration of water into the body of the roll.
5.Wrap spirally, overlapping the previous layer by one-half or two-thirds the width of the roll. Just 3-4 layers provide a strong non-weight-bearing cast and 5-6 layers are typically adequate for weight-bearing cast.
6. Smooth and rub the surface to achieve good contact between layers
