Applications of Nickel Wire:
· It is widely used in the food, chemical and textile industries.

· It is used in the electrically engineered products, electric apparatus and chemical machinery, pots, crucibles, navigation, television,microwelding, GPS and GPRS networking systems.

· It is used in the production of vinyl chloride monomer, viscoserayon, valve grid, internal parts of vacuum valves.

· Production and processing of sodium hydroxide NaOH over **0oC.

Characteristics of Nickel Wire:

· It is resistant to whole dry gases at the room temperature, resistive to corrosion in the acidic or alkaline solutions as well as excellent corrosion resistive to de - aerated acid but it can be corroded in the oxidized salt solutions.

· The wire offers relatively lower electrical resistance.
