With ten years of experience in the hosiery sector, Constante Cauzzi commences in ***2 the entrepreneurial adventure, founding Calze Elit, in the Castel Goffredo industrial pole in the province of Mantua.

Its initial activity was the production of ladies tights, complemented with a line of classic men's' socks.

In the eighties, it started the production of sports and leisure socks for men, ladies and children.

In a few years, Calze Elit became a roaring success.

The uninterrupted growth and an increase in production made the original structure hardly suitable for further development hence the Cauzzi decided to move: thus was born the current location at Gottolengo, in the province of Brescia.

Meanwhile, Calze Elit became increasingly specialized and, thanks to a product characterized by a truly exceptional quality/price ratio, has become involved with the main players in modern national and foreign distribution, soon to become a trusted supplier.

Today, Calze Elite is a leading international and domestic provider of leisure and sports hosiery, not overlooking its fine and semi-fine line for men, ladies, children and infants.
