IPL working principle

1.Biological Stimulation Effect-Intensive Pulse Light (IPL) works on skin and results in photochemical reaction which changes molecular structure inner collagenous fibre and elastic fibers of dermis, stimulates collagen regrowth and recovers its elasticity.

2.Optional Pyrogenation Effect-Pigment group (Melanin and hemoglobin) of treatment target absorbs IPL energy and temperature will increase, so pigment groups will be ruptured or broken and expelled out of body via circulation system without doing harm to normal skin tissue.

3.Photothermal Effect-The difference of light struck absorptivity for particular wavelength and energy between hair follicle melanocytes and normal epidermis is huge (optional pyrogenation effect), hair shaft absorbs IPL energy and transmits it to hair follicle, which will cause irreversible heat damage when melanin of hair papilla absorbs energy without doing harm to normal epidermis, and it can prevent the growth and reach hair removal result.

4. Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)-Porphyrin of acne can be activated when absorbs IPL energy, releases singlet oxygen ions and effectively eliminate propionibacterium acnes, meanwhile it can stimulate skin circulation system and enhance skin immunity and resistance capability.
