An inside-out pressurized Ultra Filtration(UF)membrane is made in a
capillary from with PS polymer and a large number of the
capillaries are assembled into a membrane module.
Row water is feed into the capillary cavities, and water molecules
are forced by pressure though the capillary wall. Impurities in the
feed are left over withinthe capillary cavities and may be carried
out by feed water.
The inne surfaces of the capillaries may also be cleaned by back
washing or by chemical cleaning processes.
