Industrial Prima-Cord for Civil Explosive

1.Usage of Prima-Cord for Civil Explosive
(1) When connected into a cord net in the large demolition engineering and ignited by a detonator, it can detonate explosive bag groups.
(2) It is suitable for the demolitions in the open air and without explosion gas, coal dust or marsh gas.

2. Introduction of Prima-Cord for Civil Explosive

The common detonating cord is classified into cotton thread detonating cord and plastic detonating cord. The cotton thread detonating cord is made of high explosive as its core, cotton thread and paper as its wrapper, and asphalt as its moisture-proof layer. The plastic detonating cord is made of high explosive as its core, fiber as its wrapper. And plastic as its moisture-proof layer. Its outer diameter is not more than 6.0mm. It possesses the advantages of high detonating velocity, complete detonation and good water-resistant property, its quality reaches the advanced level of the world. It won a prize of High Quality Product of Ministry and Yunnan province separately. It is used in many key engineering of our country, such as Sanxia power station. Now it is a famous product in Yunnan province. Its technical indexes is accord with GB9786-1999.

3.Performance of Prima-Cord for Civil Explosive

Velocity of detonation: about 6000m/s.
Detonating sensitivity: it can be completely detonated and when connected by the specified methods.

Moisture-proof capacity: The cotton thread detonating cord can be completely detonated after 4 keeping hours in water of 1m deep at the temperature of 10~25â„ƒ when connected by the specified methods. The plastic detonating cord can be completely detonated after 5 keeping hours in water at the temperature of 10~25â„ƒ and at the pressure of 50kPa when connected by the specified methods.

Detonating capacity: The detonating cord of 1.5m long can completely detonate a TNT block of 200g(press charge).
Pulling-resistant capacity: It can be completely detonated after bearing a static pulling force of 500N.
