Himalayan salt (commonly known as rock salt) is a marketing term for Halite. It is mined in the Khewra salt mines, the second largest salt mines in the world, located in Khewra, district Jehlum, Punjab, Pakistan.The salt comes out in reddish, orange to pink and smoke gray color with some crystals having an off white to transparent color. It is mostly used in cooking, brine and for bath / spa products.

Himalayan rock salt is the cleanest salt available on earth and contains all the elements that are found in the human body. Himalayan salt contains *4 of the *2 trace minerals known to man and no other natural or man made salt has this many minerals. Himalayan rock salt is available in cm, mm and meshes. Salt stones are ****0 cm or even bigger in size, salt chunks are **6 cm , peebles are ***5 mm, crystals are **7 mm and powder in ****0 meshes.

Himalayan rock salt powder is a premium quality table salt, **0% food grade, safe and free from any additives or foreign matter. We do not add any chemicals or free flowing agents to it while processing. If protected from moisture, it can be used for many years. Neverthless, estimated shelf life is 5 years. Himalayan rock salt powder is supplied both in bulk and retail packings. For bulk sales, we use *5 kg pp bags and for retail sales stand up pouches, sachets and polythene bags are used.
