Foam extinguishing agent 3%G (High expansion foam extinguishing agent model YEG*3) is made up of composite surfactant (foaming agent), foam stabilizer, anti-freeze agent and solvent with three years of shelf life, and is featured by good seawater resistance, foamability, strong closure and quick restoration after extinguishing. It extinguishes fire by the dual action of isolation and cooling since its abundant foam can cover the comburent or fill in the protected space quickly. It is mainly used for extinguishing A-type fire (wooden products, fiber production, coal, etc) in the restricted space, such as underground tunnel, aeroshed, warehouse and basement, as well as the extensive fire on oils, not on flammable liquids, such as alcohol, aether, aldehyde and ketone. There are two mixture ratios to freshwater or seawater by volume: 3:*7 for 3%G.
