POTOSÍ *0, S.A. is an olive-oil mill located in Orcera (Jaén), SPAIN, in the “Sierra de Segura” region, inside the “SIERRA DE SEGURA, CAZORLA y LAS VILLAS” Natural Park. Here the olive groves are mixed with the pines, with an unequal orography and a temperature from **0º to **0º. All this confers to the EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL some special caracteristics compared to other oils produced in this region. The qualities of these oils have permited their distinction by the Regulatory Council of the “Sierra de Segura” Denomination of Origin. Since ancient times the properties of EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL are renowned as an essential product for the care and healing of the skin. Potosí *0, S.A. has analysed the studies carred out on the beneficial properties of EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL in the body in order to develop its HERBOLIVA cosmetic line. The single lipidic source used is Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is obtained from the selected olives from the PICUAL variety, harvested in their optimum moment of maturation. This variety has a high content in polyphenols (natural antioxidants) and vitamins E and A.
