How to Use
1. Make sure to inspect the full-body harness before
use.
2. Wear it passing your arms through the shoulder belt.
3. Fasten the buckles of the chest and waist belts until you hear
a click and adjust the length of the belt
4. Pass through the leg buckle and adjust the length.
5. Connect the lanyard to the D-ring on your back and double lock
the ring to secure it.
Cautions
Do not remove the transparent protective cover from the shock
absorber.
• Do not use lanyard if the transparent cover of shock absorber
has been damaged
• Wear the harness in the correct way and adjust it without any
slack. Incorrect installation may compress the body while
falling.
• Be careful not to twist each belt. Torsional installation can
cause the body to be pressed or penetrate when falling.
FAQ
1. What are the three main changes that will be fully enforced
(mandatory) from January 2, 2022 due to the revision of the
law?
(1) The name has changed from "safety belt" to "fall prevention
equipment".
(2) A full harness type fall prevention device must be used at
a distance of 6.75 m or more (5 m in the construction
industry).
(3) If you use a full harness type fall prevention device at a
distance of 2 m or more, you will be required to take special
education. (Confirmed by Labor Standards Inspection Office on
November 12, 2018)
(4) The standard for each item of the new standard has become
higher. Please refer to the Ministry of Health, Labor and
Welfare guidelines for detailed standards.
2. How can I check the products that conform to the new
standard?
Since the fall-prevention device is a self-certified product,
it is a product that proves itself to be a product that
complies with the "standards for fall-prevention
device".
It is recommended to select products that have received the new
standard conformity judgment of the Japan Industrial Safety
Technology Association (TIIS) certified by the Ministry of
Health, Labor and Welfare.
3. What is the difference between the full harness type and the
torso belt type?
According to Article 2.1 of the "Standardization of Fall
Prevention Equipment" (Usage Restriction), the fall prevention
equipment used at a height exceeding 6.75 m must be a full
harness type.
When working at a height lower than that, the use of a torso
belt type is permitted, For safety, the Ministry of Health,
Labor and Welfare recommends a full harness type even if it is
2M or more and 6.75M or less (5M for the construction industry)
or less.
4. What type of full harness do you have?
X type: Strong body fixing force, excellent stability and fit.
It is a standard type adopted all over the world.
Y type: Since there are few joints on the torso belt and the
waist area can be used widely, it is ideal for attaching waist
tools.
5. What is the estimated time to replace the full harness and
lanyard?
Full harness is about 3 years and lanyard is about 2
years.
Even if it is unused, it cannot be used if it has been
manufactured for more than 7 years.
6. What is the washing method?
Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
After washing, lightly squeeze it and dry it in a
well-ventilated shade away from direct sunlight.
