Gear Oil is sutable for all kind of manual gearbox lubricants, is required to meet the extreme condition of pressure and shock loading heavy tail shaft and rear axel and the specially formulated high-quality gear lubricant. Description :

Gear oils haveneeded improving for years, especially in the high performance industry. The Lucas *5W**0 and *5W***0 gear oil enjoys the technology Lucas developed in marketing the "Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stablizer", the number one supplement oil in the heavy duty industry. This formula is fortified with special anti-wear agents and lubricity agents to control wear anfd drag as well as special additives to control heat. This feature is not found in ordinary gear oil. This gear oil is both excellent for racecars and any heavy-duty application where plain gear oils just arent's good enough. It is of a higher viscosity to better protect the gearsand usually is associated with a strong sulfur. API Categories GL*1, GL*2, GL*3 and GL*6 were declared inactive by SAE Technical Committee 3 in ***5, even though oils may be marketed with these designations.
