With the aforementioned application, fuse link boxes which are developed as resistant to water, heat 
and impact enable the safe connection of the underground cables from the grid with the cables and 
equipment in the columns. With the use of these boxes which may not be externally intervened by 
persons other than qualified personnel and without technical tools, unwanted consequences and 
accidents shall be avoided. 
Today, columns and cables mounted and connected insecurely carry great risks for both the 
pedestrians and vehicles. It was detected that many columns lacked switches and the cables were 
fastened primitively, with duct tape. These risks increase when the deformation of cables, mounting 
errors, accidents, natural disasters such as rain, flood and storm, opened electric pole covers are 
considered.
