1.OVERVIEW
Sunglory has began to study on the PV floating platform from the
beginning of ***1, has already achieved related 9 invention
patents, *2 utility model patents. Products have been identified
through the Chinese Center for disease control and prevention,
China classification society quality certification center about
storm flow conditions test, and wind tunnel test of TV Rhineland
and Guangdong Provincial Academy of Building Research. Sunglory has
already had the design ability of floating PV power station
solutions.
This product is mainly used for the floating PV power station. For
PV modules, equipment and personnel to provide buoyancy, but also
can stop the water floating objects, so as to avoid the damage to
the PV module.
2.PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
2.1ADVANTAGES OF FLOATING PV POWER STATION
Floating PV power station is one platform with the photovoltaic
modules floating on the water to generate electricity. Floating PV
power station doesn't occupy land resources. Meanwhile, water,
which has a cooling effect for photovoltaic modules, can prevent
surface temperature increased and achieve more power output.
2.2MATERIALS & PROCESSING INTRODUCTION
The products are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE)
production of the new import environmental protection material,
which also add anti-aging, such as UV, guarantee products with
enough toughness, hardness, to withstand natural environment
changes and low temperature.
Whole product is produced by blow molding process, which is
seamless, no water seepage, and durable.
2.3PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY
Product can be compatible with all crystalline silicon modules and
double glass modules in the market.
Crystalline silicon modules width: **1 + 2 mm, module length: ***0
~ ***0 mm.
Hanergy thin-film double glass modules: Solibro CIGS thin film
double glass modules (L * W: ***9 * **9.5 mm)
2.4CHARACTERISTICS OF FLOATING PV POWER STATION
The Floating PV power station is no limitation for the installed
capacity and off/on grid operation mode. The floating power
station layout is flexible, can be located close to shore or center
of water area.
2.5ANCHOR INSTALLATION
Floating platform is to be fixed by anchor. Usually the anchor
point is at the bottom of the waters, but also has a shore
anchorage. Anchoring solution should consider the actual status of
the project.
Water level change less than 1 m: the heavy anchor or sunken stone
fixed.
Water level change < 3 m: add elastic spring between the cables
and anchor/heavy stone.
Water depth change > 3 meters: use the winch type cable
connected to heavy anchor/ heavy stone.
The targeted anchorage design will be carried out according actual
project information.
2.6PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
This product mainly includes: main floating base, long rack, short
rack, maintenance aisles, peripheral protection floating body,
connecting pin bolts and gaskets, etc.
Main floating body (1floating base + 2 long rack+ 2 short rack) is
mainly used for mounting photovoltaic modules and equipments. Using
the connection holes on the racks to fix photovoltaic modules and
equipment on the floating body, meanwhile, to provide buoyancy by
the floating base.
Maintenance aisles are mainly used as aisles, to provide
convenience for maintenance personnel. At the same time the
maintenance aisles and the main floating body to be connected
together to make the stability of the entire product increased.
Peripheral protection floating body is installed outside the PV
array, the main purpose is to effectively connect the maintenance
aisles between array, and to ensure that the entire array of
photovoltaic power station to be a whole and its stability.
Connecting pin bolt is mainly used to tighten the floating body,
maintenance aisle and the protection floating body. Meanwhile it
has the self-locking functions to prevent loose.
