While flexography has improved over the years with better plate material and inks, Rotogravure printing still sets the standard for the highest quality printing in the flexible packaging market. There is no substitute for the finely engraved rotogravure cylinders. The fine line screens necessary for high quality printing are best printed from an engraved cylinder. Crisp type, consistent color and full tonal color range are the hallmarks of Gravure printing.
