FTTX type fiber optic splice closure is designed for FTTX solution.closure offers the same proven heat-shrink technology currently used with the other closures.

This technology offers the flexibility and reliability to seal the array of drop cables on the market today. The closure provides a compact solution for the emerging Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) market. The eight round port base provides an excellent platform for single or multi-fibre drops while maintaining the proven reliability of FOSC splice closures.

The individual drop port approach simplifies the provisioning, repair, and restoration of subscribers. The ability to house pre-configured splitters as well as up to four adapters in a specially modified basket makes this closure an ideal solution in today's Passive Optical Networks (PON).

Hinged tray tower system with snap-in trays
Up to four "A" size trays, *6 splices maximum
Optional slack storage basket for midspan
Accepts all FOSC OC6 splitters, (1x4, 1x8, etc)
Heat-shrink seals accept wide array of cables
Optional bulkhead basket for four (4) adapters (provides splitter test point)
Can be deployed above or below grade
Valve option for pressure testing
Grounded option available.
