A convalescent horse or a horse forced to rest has a higher risk of suffering colics or laminitis if it is not provided with a diet suited to its needs.

For these type of riding horses used for sport and leisure in a recuperation period we have designed complementary food made up of pasture and forage which prevents and solves these pathologies and endeavours to achieve a very appetising nourishment with a high level of digestibility based on the use of vaporised cereal flakes, legumes and high quality long fibres.

We have reduced the percentage of energy in the feed, and increased the percentages of fibre and protein, while we supplement the food with vitamins, amino acids and chelated minerals to help the recuperation and favour the regeneration of injured tissue and reduce the risk of the appearance of arthrosis or arthritis.
