CARYSCRUB Air purification systems provide comprehensive solution to clean the ETHYLENE gas generated in the coldstorage. The Ethylene scrubber, CARYSCRUB manufactured by Flakt India Ltd., is a simple, economical yet most effective solution to Ethylene generated in the cold storages by fresh produce. It makes use of dry chemical media which when used in packed beds remove the undesirable gases by either adsorption or chemical reaction, when contaminated air is made to pass through it. The effect of Ethylene causes Shrinkage of fresh produce, early ripening of fruits and loss of color in leafy vegetables. While ethylene accelerates the fruit ripening, it also accelerates the maturation of leaves and flowers and can cause premature death (the later stages of flower development that result in death are referred to as senescence) of these tissues.
