Descripción del producto

The essence of electromagnetic stirring is to agitate molten steel in casting blank, therefore to change and optimize the transfer of molten steel and heat exchange in the casting blank, and finally achieve targets of quality improvement and higher productivity. Today, EMS is widely used on casters to improve quality of billets/blooms or slab, and productivity of steel production. Specific improvements include surface/subsurface cleanliness, segregation, non-metalinclusions, porosity, inter-columnar cracking, grain/structure refinement, shell thickness uniformity, breakouts frequency, and machine throughput.
Generally it can be installed on a caseter as followings.

Mould levelelectromagnetic stirrer (MEMS)
EMS along strand (SEMS)
EMS at final solidification zone (FEMS)

A set of EMS for Slab Caster consists of EMS, Electric Controller and Cooling Water System. Electrical controller consists of remote IPC, local control cabinet (PLC/IPC) and frequency inverter cabinet.

Electric Controller
It uses LSI and Large Power AC-DC-AC Frequency-Changers with advanced technologies, reliable operation and simple mechanical structures.
The core of this system is IPC and is executively controlled by PLC to control and design the parameters of EMS and Cooling Water System. It can record parameters such as working status, working time and alarming as well. The system will stoping working automatically once exceptional cases occure in condition of hydraulic abonormity of pressure, flow, temperature, quality and so on.

Cooling Water System
The Cooling Water System aims to keep cooling water of EMS to ensure the proper work of EMS, consisting of the Control Cabinet (shared with the regular electric cabinet), Circulating Water Pump, Stainless Steel Tank, Plate Heat Exchanger, Indicating Instrument (Electric-contact pressure gauge, flowmeter, water-thermometer, conductivity meter, ect.).
