Compatibility 

E*9 can be formulated with polyether, polyester and polyacrylate polyol resins.Sometimes polyol-EAROY E*9 -combinations may result in turbid but stable emulsions at higher EAROY E*9 concentrations. 

Because of numerous resins available in the market the formulator needs to carefully check compatibility 

and storageproperties before use. 

Formulation 

E*9 is designed for the use in PU footwear, cast elastomer and foam formulations. 

The E*9 accept mixing with polyol and/or diol chain extender component or dosage as a separate stream

It is not recommended to add the EAROY E*9 product to isocyanate components nor NCO prepolymers. 

Regular amount of EAROY E*9 in polyurethane systems ranges from 0.5 to 5% depending on the resistivity

requirements, calculated on total system. At higher concentration exudation might occur. 

Like other low molecular weight additives and plasticizers the use of EAROY E*9 has a softening effect on 

the polyurethane properties. High amounts of solid conductive fillers (eg. carbon black, conductive pigments,

carbon nano tubes) in formulations or polymers reduce the elasticity, flexibility and break elongation. 

The combination with EAROY E*9 has a synergistic effect. It improves relaxation and reduces the total 

amount on conductive additives. The available product E*9 hardly absorb UV-light. To existing knowledge,

selection of photo initiators is not interfered by the use of EAROY E*9. 

E*9 is hygroscopic. Therefore keep containers tightly closed and avoid handling at high humidity. 

If possible,exchange air in opened containers by dried air or nitrogen. Tightly reseal opened bags after use. 

For best handling E*9 should be stored at ****0°C in its originally sealed containers in a clean and dry

environment.
