Each product shipped to your doorstep has a story and a story that dates back centuries.

The origin of these wooden toys can be traced to the reign of Tipu Sultan (A king) who invited artisans from Persia to train the local artisans . Each toy is handmade by artisan community in India.

Sustainable and fast growing Hale (Wrightia Tinctoria) and Rubber Wood (Hevea brasiliensis) are used. Natural colours are used to make these beautiful toys.

- Yellow: Turmeric powder
- Bluish Black /Green: Indigo powder,
- Orange : Kum Kum powder,
- Red: Manjishta (Natural Alizarin) + Kanchi Kum Kum,
- Green : Indigo + Turmeric,
- Light Brown: Catechu (Katha),
- Dark Brown: Ratanjyot

The beautiful shiny finish of these articles is obtained by using Lac. Lac (Shellac) is a natural resin which is organic & non-toxic. Shellac has been used in food & non-food products for several thousands of years in India. Products made using Lac are re-ferred to as Lacware products

Rattlers
Wooden rattlers with safe finish & natural vegetable dye colours & are very safe for kids. The rattling beads/rings make excellent soothing resonance that helps aural stimulation for infants. The rattlers also helps motor skills in infants with grasping an object between the thumb and a finger & usage of the lips and tongue to taste objects or for speech
