Use Characteristics
1. DPG**5 is a moderate accelerator for natural and synthetic rubbers, the main application includes tires, shoe soles and thick rubber products.                                                                                                                        2. It is not used alone as it tends to be very slow cure speed and short scorch time, so it is used combination with thiazoles, sulfonamides and thiurams.                                                                                                                           3. DPG**5 causes slight discoloration and cannot be used in light-colored articles, expect as an activator. When used alone, the resistance of the vulcanizates to hot air and oxygen is poor.  Used as secondary accelerator, it exhibits fast cures with good reversion and fatigue resistance and better storge stability than obtained with formulations activated by thiurams and dithiocarbamates.
 
Processing Advantages
The thermoplastic, excellent compatible EPDM/EVA binder which is combined with active dispersing promoters allows much more easy quickly incorporation and excellent dispersion in the rubber mixing. In this way, optimal activity of the effective DPG is assured.
 
Dosage
As primary accelerator: 1.0~2.0phr with 2.5~3.5phr sulfur;                  
As secondary accelerator: 0.1~0.5phr with 0.*5~1.0phr mercapto accelerator and 2.5phr sulfur.
 
Applications
Automotive and construction profile, tire treads, air hoses, conveyor belts, footwear and other technical articles.
