Double row tapered roller bearings can support the combined load which is mainly consisted of radial load. It can restrict the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in the two directions and thus can be used as a bidirectional locating bearing. Double row tapered roller bearings can carry heavy radial and axial loads and are stiff, the axial load carrying capacity of tapered roller bearings increases with increasing contact angle, and are easy to be mounted and dismounted. Double row tapered roller bearings can be used in a preload situation to obtain higher rigidity and better running accuracy of the shaft.
