The environmental features such as relative humidity, air temperature, and dew point are subject to change. A surface temperature above dew point is acceptable but a lower surface temperature is not suitable for activities undertaken in the protective coating industry.  Dew point is the temperature at which air can no longer hold the water vapours and some of the water vapours must condense into liquid water. At hundred percent relative humidity, the dew point temperature and real temperature are the same. Dew point can cause clouds and fog to form  A drop in surface temperature below dew point temperature will lead to a condensation of that surface, leading to rust, condensation affected steel can't sustain adhesives, improper laminating, etc., a recently finished coating work, i.e. wet coated surface can get problems of stains, improper gloss, etc.
