Y-Art Gallery is a cultural & artistic institution aiming to protect and further develop Chinese traditional arts and crafts. It is the biggest intangible, cultural heritage protection base in Shanghai. Y-Art Gallery is composed of an “Exhibition Hall” and “Experience Hall”: The Exhibition Hall located in the north building displays masterpieces created by state-level miniature engraving masters, and the Experience Hall is located in the south building displaying exhibits made by folk craftsmen and craftswomen. Visitors can try to learn and make artistic creations as well as watch on-site artists in real-time performances.
