Chemically vapor-deposited Zinc Sulfide (CVD ZnS) is
an infrared transmitting material with high performance and
relatively low cost, which is widely used for infrared windows,
domes and optical elements. Two kinds of CVD ZnS can be made:
As-grown ZnS and Multispectral ZnS. As-grown ZnS shows high
transmission and homogeneity of refractive index in ***2μm band.
Also its high strength, high hardness and anti-thermo-shock make
As-grown ZnS suitable for severe environment Multispectral ZnS,
made from as-grown ZnS by HIP treatment, expands transmitting range
to visible band. It is becoming the preferred materials of
multi-spectral optical windows.
Our product Multispectral ZnS shows high transmission
in 1.*6μm and is well-suited for multi-spectral applications.
