Santura Engineering started the manufacture of counter weight systems in the late nineties. The system is used to balance Radiant Coils in the Reformer / Cracking Furnaces. Fabrication is carried out as per clients drawings. The Dead Weight material is from carbon steel and Cast Iron. The hollow section of the H and I frames of the counter weight consists of imported Graph alloy oil less bushes embedded in Carbon steel housing. The pins are made of special grade Stainless Steel **0S. Clevises are of S.S material machined in house. Certain sub-components of the counter weight are imported. Heat treatment of 8.8 grade bolts is done by our sub contractor which is closely monitored to attain hardness and tempering. The complete system is hot dip galvanized after welding.
