USAGE: KE model is used for the removal of large amounts of sand and other fine solids. When the sand concentration is high it is substantial to use a circulation screen filter series K. In order to avoid interruption of filtration during the cleaning process filters with brush should be preferred.A fertilizer tank or injector could be easily installed, by using the 3/4" ball valves of the fertilizer control head, in order to achieve fertilizing during the filtration procedure. CONSISTS OF: a sand separator (hydrocyclone) and a screen (series O, K) or disc (series D) filter, a fertilizer control head to connect the fertilizer tank or injector, inlet and outlet manifolds (S type) for connection to the main pipes and a metal support (base). EQUIPPED WITH: Master valve (gate), ball valves to connect the fertilizer tank or injector, pressure gauges (manometers), drain valves FILTER-MANUAL CLEANING: By opening the flush valve periodically, particles are removed. It is necessary to dismantle periodically the screen filter in order to clean the screen (take out the cartridge and rinse it thoroughly with water under pressure). Semi-automatic filters from 2" up to 4" are equipped with a cleaning mechanism consisting of a brush that scrapes the debris from the filtration surface. It is very important to open partially the drain valves so to flush out the contaminants trapped in the collecting chamber and of-course to open the valves thoroughly at least once per day for approx. *5 to *0sec (depends on the quantity of the particles).
