We have selected some wonderful pieces that are designed by some of our business partners in the Colombian emerald world. Which have been in emerald market for longer than *0 years, thanks to his family’s tradition.

The gems that you find in our list, were bought rough, and cut by their hands in order keep the best quality in the gems. 

In fact, the dedication and quality about our associates in the Colombian emerald´s world has received an international recognized in the book EMERALDS A PASSIONATE GUIDE.

It is important to note that all jewels that we sale are certificated by “Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico de la Esmeralda Colombiana CDTEC” (Colombian Emerald Technological Development Centre of the Colombian Emerald). This is a civil corporation, nonprofit, mixed in nature, designed to promote and generate technological capabilities in order to continuously improve productivity, quality and competitiveness of companies in the Colombian Emerald´s sector. Because of that one of its main responsibilities isto promote confidence and sales in Colombian emeralds through scientific analysis and certification. Emeralds certified by the CDTEC lab undergo inspection by both a certified chemist and a GIA trained gemologist using the latest digital equipment.

This gemological laboratory has been created in a joint venture by the Colombian government's institutions and FEDESMERALDAS.

The National Government Institutions involved are:

• INGEOMINAS –It was transformed in ***1 to “Servicio Geológico Colombiano” (Colombian Geological Service), which it will have functions related with ANM “Agencia Nacional de Minería” (National Agency for Mining).
• SENA -Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje -  (National Service for Learning)
• PROEXPORT COLOMBIA.

 FEDESMERALDAS: Federación Nacional de Esmeraldas de Colombia (National Federation of Colombian Emeralds) is integrated by:

• APRECOL: Asociaciones de: Productores de Esmeraldas de Colombia (Producers´ Association of Colombian Emeralds).
• ACODES: Asociación Colombiana de Exportadores de Esmeraldas (Colombian Association for Emerald Exporters).
• ASOCOESMERAL: Asociación del Comercio en Esmeraldas (Association for Emeralds´ Trade)

All gems are appraised in Houston, TX, by Steven M Silver, Gemologist Certified by GIA and President of Jewelry Appraisal Services. The appraisals will be given to the customers along with the gems to provide the value of the gems at the time of purchase.
