SLIWAL office partition Shall be **0 Series (*0mm thick panel) as furnished and installed by an authorised representative of SLIWAL.

The operable wall panel construction and finish materials shall consist of Class A rated materials in accordance withSLIWAL Standards.

Operation:

Partitions shall be top supported, manually operated panels stacked in an area nominated in the plans. When closed, the operable wall shall provide a complete sound retardant barrier. No floor track shall be used.

Track : The tracks are made from extruded ***3 - T5 anodized aluminium. The track housing shall utilize grooves and interlocking steel pins for positive alignment of adjacent track sections, and shall be reinforced overhead by drop rod brackets. Aluminum track housing shall include an integral nut slot to accept a hardened square nut for attaching each drop rod bracket to the top of the track.

Trolley : SLIWALCentre/ Side /Remote stacking system with a Two wheeled nylon trolley made with the base Material of POM *5 tempered steel shall be used as per approved stacking method.

Aluminium trim : The panel trims will be standard series with exposed Aluminium trims of *5mm thickness finished in ***3 - T5 Anodized Aluminium shall be used.

Panels:

The Panels will be made from *2mm MDF boards and shall be **0mm thick and ***0mm maximum width, made to the appropriate acoustic rating and structural backing and mounted in full perimeter extruded aluminium frames with interlocking corner construction .The panel faces shall be finished with selected material.

Basic Panels shall be equal in module.

Panel Surface Finish : The panel surface will be as per the clients requirement finished either inSliwal factoryChina or by others .

Rectractable mechanism: The top and bottom rail of each panel shall incorporate an extruded aluminium box section mechanical seal manually operated by a handle inserted in the panel stile, turning the handle through *5 degrees shall simultaneously extend or retract the top and bottom seals through an steel and spring mechanism which shall firmly hold the seals in the retracted or extended mode. Single crank type mechanisms shall activate floor and head seals.

Seals :vinyl seal of butane rubber will be used as top and bottom and as well as closure seals for the operable wall system.Retractable seal drop will be *3mm.

Acoustic insulation Material: Rockwool sound absorption glass fibre shall be used.

Magnetic Strip: Ferrite plastic magnetic material will be used in between aluminium profiles to enhance acoustic performance of the wall.

Stacking :The panels will be stacked as per the agreed method and in accordance with the architetural plan. Centre stacking arrangement will be utilized for the subject project.

Closures:

Final acoustic closure of the operable wall shall be effected by either:

A panel equipped with a telescopic closure.(Expanding panel)
A full height door panel with a bulb seal.

Jambs:

The end panel of the opening opposite to the closure shall be fitted with Bulb Seal an hollow extruded vinyl Seal, the Seal shall protrude *0mm beyond the end of the panel and shall be capable of compensating for minor variations in wall surface which it abuts.
