BS*1C*0 is an organically modified bentonite designed for use in low to medium polarity solvent system.

INCORPORATIONS

BS*1C*0 requires high shear dispersion in the solvent or resin/solvent blend as well as a chemical activator. It is added to the solvent or resin/solvent and dispersed under shear for *0 minutes. Following that a polar activator is added and mixed an additional *0 minutes to ensure complete activation. Cowles-type dissolvers, sand, ball or three roll mills are all suitable.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

BS1C0 use level depends on organic system but typically between 0.5%*3.0% by weight of the total system, depending upon the degree of thickening or other properties desired. Laboratory testing is recommended to determine optimal level.

SHELF LIFE
BS*1C*0 has a shelf life of at least two years from date of manufacture. Store in a cool dry place.
