Body Armour Like a Second Skin.  I've Got BALSS (TM)

​Next Generation Advanced Body Armour. 

BALSS has been developed for the military (SF) & intelligence, diplomats/VIPS and supplied as a niche product for several years.  It is meant to give better protection against fragments, IEDs, and a broader protection to wider array of ammunition and threats.  Continuously reducing the weight and/or increase the ballistic performance. It's very much performance driven and we try to keep it reasonable price wise so far we can.

​It's design is based of DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) in such a way it can be upgraded forwards and backwards in time. It consist of a soft armour kit and a garment set (4x).  As well the soft armour as the garments set can be upgraded in time.  

​The design is done in such way that the power stretch fabrics of the garments pull the soft armour like a second skin around the body. In this way the user is not limited in its movement, feels free and agile.

​Garment sets.

Garment set consist of a Shirt or Tank top, Shorts (both combined creates the half set), with the Shirt Long Sleeve and Pants (all combined create the full set).  A half set can always be upgraded to a full set.

Extra garments sets can be purchased afterwards.

​Depending on the volume they can be manufactured in all colours and made climate or mission dependent. ​There can be several version for a normal climate, tropical climate (moisture control), polar climate but also Inherent Fire retardant versions for the military.  All high end fabrics used are antibacterial and/or have cooling features.

Soft Armour Inserts

With BALSS we make use of the most light weight and advanced soft armour solutions available in the market.  The full set consists of 9 up to *5 soft armour inserts.  The upgrade set of 6 inserts.
​Front, Back, Side (L+R), Upper Arm (L+R), Lower Arm (L+R), Groin, Hip (L+R), Upper leg (L+R), Lower Leg (L+R)

​The Soft Armour insert sets are available in several version ranging from NIJ ***1.*4/*6 Level II, IIIa but also with other standards like the Stanag, VPAM, UK, Chinese Standards and others. The so called Level 3a (+)+
