AWS 5.1 E***3 E***8 carbon steel arc welding electrode

APPLICATION:

This type E***3 welding rod is applicable for single pass and multi-pass welding of carbon steel and **4 MPa grade Carbon steel and is widely used in such fields as automobile industry, construction machinery manufacturing, ship building, metallurgical and mining equipment manufacturing, bridge building, petrochemical industry and pressure vessel manufacturing, etc. Also it is applicable for high-speed welding of sheets and pipeline steel.

It is widely used in important projects of ships, boilers, high press vessel, bridges, skyscrapers, offshore drilling platforms, nuclear power stations etc.

FEATURES:

AWS 5.1 E***3 welding rod has excellent welding technological property: the electric arc is stable with less spattering, the appearance of welded joint is nice with good crack resistance:

it applies to all-position welding.

Welding rod main features:

Extra low hydrogen potassium iron powder coating
Welding high tensile steels and low alloy steels
Excellent low temperature toughness and high crack-resistance
The groove of base metal should be cleared away impurities
Baked at a temperature to **0 degree then be held **2 houds before welding, and the 2.5mm Welding rods should be done by **0 degree then be held 1 hour
