1. Teaching Items:

It covers knowledge of general structural composition of air bag, working principle of air bag, knowledge of composition and functions of air bag assembly, knowledge of gas generator structure and principle, inspection of air bag components, inspection of air bag circuit, the use of service equipments of air bag system, data stream reading from fault code of air bag system and the recovering method and procedure of control unit data of air bag.

2. Functions of Experiment Items:

Crash sensor (disassembly and assembly, working principle, inspection and type); safety sensor (disassembly and assembly, working principle, inspection and type);

Air bag assembly (disassembly and assembly, working principle, inspection and type); component inspection (disassembly and assembly, working principle, inspection and type);

Air bag circuit (disassembly and assembly, working principle, inspection and type); and air bag ECU (structure, principle and data recovery).

3. Demonstration Functions:

(1)Demonstration function for structure and position of original part: Arrange the components of air bag system according to the basic configuration sequence and mark the name on different components to fully demonstrate the structure, installation position and working principle of a single original part.

(2)Demonstration function for dynamic operation: On the basis of air bag system of original automobile, the working procedure and principle for air bag system during car crash can be demonstrated dynamically.

4. Functions of Inspection and Real-time Display:

The panel is equipped with external detecting interface, and knowledge of air bag component circuit and inspection and analysis for voltage parameters of working signal of air bag system can be carried out on panel; the system is equipped with fault setting device for microcontroller that in fault condition the LED indicator light installed on training platform displays the quantity of fault and the location and separately light on and off according to the examination need.
