sample TTO procedure below
1. Buyer and Seller sign SPA and deposit same with their
respective banks
2. Buyer return signed SPA with MATB FORMAT and NNPC
ACCREDITED SUPERCARGO AND INSPECTOR DETAILS.
3. Seller sends details of available loaded vessels to buyer
for tracking.
4. Buyer confirms the location of the loaded vessel he wants
to buy and instructs his bank to issue Bank Endorsed Cheque,
Managers Cheque or Bank Draft of two hundred million naira (N**0,
**0,**0) to seller's fiduciary account and copy seller.
5. Seller confirms receipt of Bank Endorsed Cheque and
instructs his bank to release Proof Of Product (POP) to buyers
bank.
6. Seller instructs his loaded vessel captain to issue
MATB/Clearance to board supercargo and inspector to take sample and
disembark for Q&Q analysis, N**0, **0,**0 Bank Endorsed Cheque
for logistics turns cash in seller's nominated account. And after
Q&Q, seller completes formalities for the loaded document to be
reassigned into buyers name.
7. Buyer pays for the AGO and all Commission as Recorded
in this SPA Section of this Contract Agreement via MT**3 to
all concerned less N**0, **0,**0 for logistics.
8. After confirmation of payment by all concerned seller
releases documents to buyers bank and vessel is allowed to sail to
its port of discharge..
