ABOUT ACTAVIS PROMETHAZINE
Actavis Promethazine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects
of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce
symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Do not
use this product in children younger than *8 years.
HOW TO USE ACTAVIS PROMETHAZINE?
Take this medication by mouth with or without food, usually every 4
to 6 hours as needed with a full glass of water (8 ounces or **0
millilitres) or as directed by your doctor. It is strongly
recommended that an accurate measuring device be used.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE-EFFECTS OF ACTAVIS PROMETHAZINE?
Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side
effects occur while taking Actavis Promethazine:
• Tarry stools
• Bleeding gums
• Constipation
• Decrease in urine volume
• Troubled breathing
• Fainting
• Light-headedness
• Loss of appetite
