Thread repair kits help prevent costly machine downtime Range Kits, a multiple size kit 
format, are widely used in maintenance workshops.

A quantity of thread inserts, the appropriate size drill, high speed steel tap, installation tool, a tang break tool in the kit. 

Advantages for screw threaded inserts:

1). it could enhance the connection strength and abrasion resistant, especially in AL, MG, Cast Iron and 

other low strength materials.

2). improve thread's stress state and to be spring connection, remove the errors of pitch and thread angle, 

protect the thread avoiding to be broken, and extend working time. 

3). prevents the thread rusting, trip with perfect corrosion, high heat and abrasion resistant in many kinds of environments, repair the internal thread.
 

Thread Repair Kit Insatallation Process:

1. Drill out damaged thread using correctly sized drill-bit(supplied)

2. Tap re-drilled hole using tap supplied

3. Load coiled insert into applicator
4. Screw coil into casting
5. Using lug breaking tool,break off tang on insert
6. Thread is repaired and ready to use
