Signamax Connectivity Systems *******1POE and *******1POE-FP switches are the new flagships of the Signamax Ethernet Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch product line. They provide non-blocking performance for *4 *0/**0/***0 Gigabit Ethernet connections supporting either PoE or the new PoE+ **2.3at standard, 4 of which are Dual Media**0/***0Base SFP Ports, plus 2 **0/***0Base SFP-only ports, for a total of *6 ports. These new switches support modern capabilities including IPv6, SSH management, QoS and Tagged VLAN, and full SNMP management at a surprisingly low cost. The six **0 or ***0Base SFP slots (four are Dual Media ports) use auto-detected SFP modules for fiber optic switch interconnection at extended distances. Both ring and star Gigabit backbone network architectures are possible with full automatic failover. The included SNMP management package is complete and comprehensive, with web browser, local console, and Telnet remote terminal connections and real time updating. The *******1POE and ***- ***1POE-FP switches also communicate with network management systems such as HP OpenView™ via SNMP for enterprise-wide status display, statistical monitoring, and switch control. Enhanced Layer 2+ lookahead routing features and IEEE **2.1p Quality of Service / **2.1Q Tagged VLAN / IP Type of Service support make the Signamax *******1POE or the *******1POE-FP models excellent choices for establishing or adding to an Enterprise PoE / PoE+ network.
