The Stay Away Mat is a touch sensitive training mat which says NO when you can`t. It quickly conditions dogs, cats and similar sized animals to avoid prohibited areas with a harmless, low-power electronic pulse similar to static electricity. Safe yet effective!

OPERATING GUIDE- OVERVIEW

1.       Remove the Shock Mat from its box. Lay it flat in a warm environment to allow it to un-crease.

2.       Insert a new alkaline type 9 volt battery or connect the adopter..

3.       Place the device at its working location.

4.       Switch ON and the power indicator light keeps lighting..

5.       Test the mat using Low static

6.       Wait for your pet to learn about the mat.



INSERTING THEBATTERYor ADOPTER

On the front of the electronics controller, slide the battery door open. Connect and insert a new 9Volt ALKALINE battery. Then slide the battery door back into place. battery life is up to 4 weeks. We recommend switching the Shock Mat OFF when not in use.

OR:

 Insert the *-Volt, **0mA****0mA adapter into the controller, and connected to the power.(not include)

Notice:

The batteries and adapters cannot be used, remove the adapter when using the battery, when using the adapter, please remove the battery



LowBatteryIndicator:

When thebatteryis low, controller B voice every 5 seconds



LOCATING THE DEVICE

To operate properly the mat must be fully unfolded and not folded back on itself. The surface on which it is placed should be electrically non-conductive and dry. Do not leave objects on top of the mat.



Switching the Stay AwayMatON:

To switch ON, momentarily press and release the push switch. The lights will periodically flash to indicate it is switched ON.

IMPORTANT: The Stay Away Mat needs to calibrate itself to the surface on which it is placed. Calibration occurs when you switch the controller from OFF to ON. Whenever you change the mat`s location you must switch the controller OFF. Wait *0 seconds. Switch the controller ON. DO NOT TOUCH OR MOVE the mat for the next *0 seconds while calibration takes place.



Switching the Pet Mat OFF:

Pressï¹ hold the push switch for 3 seconds, then release. the LED will flash three times with three times BB sound and long BB sound to confirm you selected OFF.

Testing The Stay Away Mat

1.       Pressing the power switch until the power indicator light keeps lighting.

2.       Touch the Stay Away Mat with the side of your hand, rather than your sensitive fingertips, to test its operation.

3.       Once the Stay Away Mat senses your touch, its action BB sound, and sends static pulses to the Stay Away Mat for 3 seconds, you will feel the pulses if you leave your hand touching across 2 wires.

4.       If only the pet step on the Stay Away Mat ,touch the wire with its legs, will cause the static pulses.
