Scott has taken the endurance geometry of their Solace platform and adapted it for women with the Contessa Solace HMF Bike. The Contessa designation means theyve built the bike with a *0mm shorter top tube and *0mm longer head tube, so that people with longer legs and shorter torsoes, relative to their height, can find a comfortable, high-performance, all-day bike. HMF is an acronym for Scotts proprietary High Modulus Fibers, their light and stiff carbon cloth.

As the name suggests, this bike is targeted more towards women, as they are typically a bit shorter than men, and are longer-legged, and shorter-torsoed. That written, there is nothing other than the differing stack and reach dimensions that separate this from the mens Solace. For each size, the head and seat angles are the same, with the same bottom bracket drop and chainstay length.
