IBTY is seeking to build extensive relationships, leading to research, development and production capabilities in Brazil to capitalize on the country's expertise, and strategic mission in the industrial biotechnology sector. Brazil, which has already established itself as a leader in the production and utilization of Bioethanol, presents a great opportunity for IBTY to build on momentum that already exists, and establish a significant base of operation that expands the global footprint of our important new biotechnologies, targeting production of high value chemicals and new chemical feedstocks in Brazil. We are a relatively new biotechnology company with exceptional potential for future development innovation, underwritten by the strength of intellectual capital residing with our scientific team, and our global network of research, process scale-up and production partners. Our business plan includes the licensing, validation and commercialization of technologies from some of the world's leading universities and research centers. IBTY currently has licensed *7 patents and applications that are the supporting foundation for a host of high value and chemical products. IBTY is in the process of licensing and developing technologies to produce new classes of compounds including: proteins, bio-surfactants, and various chemicals from bio-renewable feedstocks. Specifically, IBTY is targeting producers of high-quality, low-cost bio-ethanol that can be exported to several countries to be used as fuel and bio-renewable feedstocks for production of chemical products.
