Dear Export Sales Manager,

Subject: G.A. Sons inquiry # T1-177 for the import of Barium Nitrate.

We are pleased to give below firm inquiry from our client M/s. G.A. Sons for the
Import of:

BARIUM NITRATE: 98.5% minimum. Grade 1A,
Free from visible impurities and foreign matter.
Crystals, whole crystals prepared from Grinding Course material.
Packed in 30 kgs bags completely sealed.

1. Volatile matter (3 Hrs at 103 =/- 2 deg C = 0.1% maxi.
2. Matter Insoluble in Water:
Total: 0.5 % maxi.
Organic: 0.1% maxi.
3. Matter insoluble in Aqua Regia: Retained on a 125um BS sieve = 0.05% maxi.
4. Reaction of 5% aqueous solution:
Acidity of Methy RED = NIL,
Alkalinity to methy red. Calculated as: Na2Co2 = 0.01% maxi.
5. Chloride, calculated as C1 = 0.15% maxi.
6. Chlorate, calculated as C103 = 0.003% maxi.
7. Nitrite, Calculated as NO2 = 0.01% maxi.
8. Sodium Compounds, calculated as Na = 0.02% maxi.
9. Amonium Compounds = 0.02% maxi.
10. Hygroscopicity (24 Hrs at 20 deg C % 85 % R.H = 0.15% maxi.
11. Total Barium, calculated as Ba (NO) 2 = 98.5%
12. Sieve Size:
Retained on a 150 um BS Sieve = Nil.
Retained on a 90 um BS Sieve = 50% min, 70% maxi.

Quantity: 1.000 kgs.
