RFQ Details

Dear TradeKey

I am interested in a LED supplier, manufacturer or assembler to adapt an
array of high output
LED's at warm white temperature on a round mounting plate approximately one
inch (1")
(2.5 cm) diameter. Operating voltage: 12 V DC.

The configuration of the plate may be octagonal (eight-sided) as well.
The number of LED's on one plate is optional, based on total output.

The electrical mounting would be two 1mm pins 7mm long and spaced 7mm apart,
and mounted horizontally, extending from one side of the mounting plate,
along the same line.

The output should be high enough to approach that of a 20 watt halogen bulb,
however I do know that the efficiency of LED's may not come as close as we
might like,
so the idea is to get as close as possible.

I am seeking to replace the G8 20 watt 120 v halogen bulb which mounts
horizontally into
a two pin ceramic base. The LEDs will run off of a 12v transformer.
There well may be an existing LED product that only needs to adapted to the
pin-type mount.

Quantity is based on efficiency and quality, however if a reasonable
prototype could be produced,
and testing satisfactory, then the first order would likely be 1000 pieces,
with many more to follow.

I am confident that my marketing of the proper product as described above
will create
a demand which will grow exponentially, as the application envisioned has
much potential.
This is a specialty application, with which I have much experience.
