Technical and Commercial Regulations Governing the Import of Hatching Eggs:
• Weight of the egg: Between 58 to 67 grams
• Preferred breeds by priority:
o Ross
o Cobb
o Indian Raven
• Health: The parent flock must be free from bacterial and viral diseases, especially Mycoplasma and Salmonella.
• Quality of eggs: The eggs must be free from deformities and shell defects.
• Color conformity: The color of the eggs must match the breed specifications.
• Fertility rate: No less than 90%, and hatchability rate must not be less than 80%.
• Storage duration: Must not exceed 3 days after production.
• Breakage rate: A breakage rate of about 2% of the shipped quantity is acceptable.
• Testing: Necessary health tests will be conducted upon the arrival of the eggs to ensure their safety.
