Galvanized wire iron description

Galvanized iron wire includes two type: hot-dip galvanized iron wire and electro galvanized iron wire. Their production technology is different, and have respective advantages and applications in various field.

Galvanized iron wire feature

1. Hot-dip galvanized iron wire

Hot-dip galvanized iron wire is made with choice low carbon steel wire, through wire drawing, acid washing and rust removing, annealing and coiling. It’s mainly used in construction, handicrafts, woven wire mesh, express way fencing mesh, packaging of products and other daily uses.

2. Electro galvanized iron wire

Electro galvanized iron wire is made with choice mild steel, through wire drawing, wire galvanizing and other processes. Electro galvanized iron wire has the characteristics of thick zinc coating, good corrosion resistance, firm zinc coating, etc. It’s mainly used in construction, express way fencing, binding of flowers and wire mesh weaving.

Galvanized iron wire productive process

1. Drawing

There are two kinds of drawing machine: powder drawing and water drawing. powder drawing is fit for junior drawing(6.5mm~4.0mm). Water draw is used for senior draw.(≤4.0mm) . After drawing, the wire is thinner, but also very hard. The tensile strength is about **0N. These wire can be used to produce nail and mesh panel. For galvanized wire, it still need annealing .

2. Annealing

Anneal is to low the tensile strength of wire. The stove is solid and built with red bricks. The architecture of anneal stove is cuboid. Different thickness of wire require different temperature. Range is from **0°C to **0°C. Output of the anneal stove, the tensile strength is **0N~**0N.

3. Chlorhydric acid washing

After the draw and anneal, the wire is thinner, softer but also much more dirty. It needs chlorhydric acid washing to remove the impurities. Chlorhydric acid washing requires water pool and chlorhydric acid pool. The density of chlorhydric acid is *7%. In the Chlorhydric acid pool, there is a caldron used for the emission of vapor.

4. Zinc coating

After the chlorhydric acid pool, water pool is also necessary. In the zinc pool, displacement reaction is chemical and uniformly distributed. The surface of wire is smooth. Because wire cross the zinc pool fast, abundant zinc coating requires 4 zinc pools.
